There are a lot of messengers. Too many, honestly. But most of them make one of two mistakes: they sacrifice convenience for security, or the other way around. We want to take a third path — where both are first-class.

What works today

Oplexx today:

  • Chats and groups — fast, with full media support
  • Voice channels — Discord-style, always on
  • Video notes and voice messages — with automatic transcription
  • Per-request authorization for media — no photo or video can be accessed without access to the chat, even with a direct link

What we’re working on

  • End-to-end encryption (E2E) for private chats and groups — in a “Security” mode
  • Android, macOS, Windows and web — in parallel
  • Open-source client — as soon as the architecture stabilises

Philosophy

We think a messenger isn’t only about features. It’s about who you trust with your conversations. So we collect the minimum of data, don’t sell anything to advertisers, and plan to open the client source.

Stay tuned. The best is ahead.
